Workshops

The workshops offer an opportunity to create your own one-off pieces. This is a friendly relaxed atmosphere where I teach one to one or small groups depending on your requirements.

I am passionate about craftsmanship, therefore bench skills are my main focus when running workshops. If you understand the function of your tools and the discipline of techniques you can realise your designs accurately. Start with the basics and you’ll save yourself a lot of frustration further down the road.  It’s so rewarding to see people proudly wearing their finished piece.

My students are always amazed at what they achieve.

Techniques covered are measuring, sawing, filing, soldering and finishing. You will leave with a finished piece of jewellery and an understanding of basic construction methods.

Experienced makers have an opportunity to focus on a technique or try something new. This is an intensive day that will improve your skills in a specific practice.

The structure of the day is 10am to 4pm, with a short lunch-break.

There is a café for refreshments and plenty of parking on site.
